A few years ago a young man purchased an engagement ring from us. Recently, he called to
let us know he was in the market again but wanted almost
the identical ring of his first purchase. He goes on to
tell us that while he and his fiance' were sunbathing at the Grand
Canyon, she removes the ring and places it next to her
on the cooler. Little did they know, Mr. Raven spots the
sparkle and swoops down and grabs it.
Did they have insurance
was my first question? The answer was no. Could this have
been prevented? Yes, to the insurance part and yes to
the raven if you don't take your ring off.
The role of this appraiser
is to encourage insurance on the unknown.
To the future . . . take
heed! And no more feeding the ravens!
